Eye of the Day engaged etainia, having just made several distribution deals with European pottery manufacturers for exclusives in the United States, with a vision of expanding their retail showroom into the distribution hub of a national network of landscape designers, architects and others in need of the highest-quality terracotta and stone garden products. To assist in this expansion and the additional marketing effort required, etainia redesigned the company’s website and consulted on email and other digital marketing and advertising campaigns.

Utilizing the latest search-engine friendly Flash techniques, etainia designed a database driven product tool that lets customers quickly sort through the hundreds of products that Eye of the Day carries. From a small image in the product grid, customers can click to enlarge the photo, preview color and finish options, see the dimensions and product IDs and then email the specific product inquiry to the company. A secure trade-only version of the website displays even more product details and PDF product sheets with pricing. A News & Events blog allows the client to keep their fans in touch with the latest product offerings, buying trips, trade shows and other details. A Designer Gallery features their products installed in the homes and gardens of their clients around the country – estates, resorts, public spaces and the homes of gardens of those who appreciate the finest while also crediting the designers to cross-promote their services.
